ICAC Accepting Nominations For Researcher Of The Year
The Washington-based International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) — an association of governments
dedicated to promoting cooperation in international cotton affairs — is now accepting nominations
for Researcher of the Year.
Each year, ICAC awards one cotton researcher with the title as well as a cash prize of US$1,000. The award recipient is invited to make a presentation during the technical session at ICAC’s next plenary meeting to discuss his/her contributions to cotton research and vision for the future of cotton technology.
ICAC will accept nominations from Jan. 1 until Feb. 28, 2009. The finalist will be announced on April 30, 2009. For more information, visit www.icac.org/tis/researcher_of_the_year/English.html.
