Submission Period For IDEA10 Achievement Awards Nominations Now Open

The Cary, N.C.-based Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) and Nonwovens Industry magazine are now accepting nominations for the IDEA10 Achievement Awards. Given every three years at the IDEA International Engineered Fabrics Exposition and Conference, the awards recognize innovation in nonwovens and engineered fabrics across five categories: Equipment Achievement; Roll Goods Achievement; Raw Material Achievement; Short-Life Product Achievement; and Long-Life Product Achievement.

Nominations from members of the global engineered fabrics industry may be submitted at either www.idea10.org or www.nonwovens-industry.com until Dec. 31, 2009. After the submission deadline, a selection committee will choose three finalists in each of the five categories, which will be posted on the INDA and Nonwovens Industry websites. Members of the industry will then be able to vote for the winners.

"These IDEA Achievement Awards promote innovation and recognize outstanding achievement within the worldwide engineered fabrics community, and it is fitting that they will be presented during IDEA10, the most important industry trade show of the year," said Rory Holmes, INDA president.

IDEA10 will take place April 27-29, 2010, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
