ITMA Asia + CITME 2012 Exhibitor Preview: UCMTF
Specialisation - Innovation - Service
The French textile machinery has played a particularly important role in the historical development of the textile industry and is continuing to do so as it will be seen at next ITMA ASIA + CITME 2012in Shanghai. Remember the illustrious name of JACQUARD, the French inventor of the most sophisticated weaving technology!
For the long fibre spinning industry: new techniques to improve dramatically the quality standards, the operating and maintenance costs, and on line quality controls. The innovating range includes the design of complete lines.
For the twisting and texturing of yarns: the opportunity to develop high-tech yarns for traditional and technical applications. Heat setting processes: new functionalities to yarns, for the carpet industry particularly.
Jacquard machines and dobbies developments: feasible spectacular increases in the speed of the production processes together with higher quality and more reliability.
Dyeing: consistency improvements together with energy and water savings.
In new sectors of the textile industry like the nonwoven processes the French machinery is also at the pinpoint of innovation.
Recycling the textile materials at the end of their life cycle and transform them into new products, being environmentally friendly, is also an issue on which the French machinery manufacturers are among world leaders.
French machinery manufacturers are less and less offering standard machines but, more and more, tailor made solutions designed with their customers and partners to enable these customers to introduce new products with high added value and compete successfully in their own national market and in the open world. Personal contacts are necessary to achieve this goal: permanent agents in each country, numerous visits by experts from France, participation in events or shows.
The following companies will exhibit at ITMA ASIA and will welcome visitors to study their projects and offer innovative solutions.

Innovative solutions for the flooring industry
With more than 1,400 lines installed all over the world, SUPERBA, is the global leader in the market relating to continuous carpet yarn heat-setting and dyeing processes, in addition to manufacturer of machines used for heat-setting, steaming and dyeing of shrinkable yarns for the production of woven-tufted carpets and rugs (PP, PA ,PET ,PAN,Wool and blends).
Since 1971 SUPERBA has provided carpet manufacturers with machines for the treatment of yarns. The SUPERBA heat-setting process with saturated steam under pressure has always been the most energy efficient on the market.
Since its first release in 2007, theTVP3 line, the latest generation of heat-setting solution has been sold all over the world and became a top success on the carpet industry market.
The technology of this new line cuts its energy consumption almost by half compared to earlier versions for equivalent production levels, thus making it the most energy efficient and environmental-friendly heat setting machine on the market.
Always at the leading edge of technology and research for innovating applications for the flooring industry, SUPERBA has developed a complete new patented concept for the processing of artificial grass turfs: the GREENTEX - GTS. This line is capable of texturizing up to 12 ends at the same time in a fully continuous operation including knitting, on-line heat-setting, de-knitting and re-winding!
Any type of yarn and all kinds of materials can be processed in PE, PP or PA with no yarn count limitation, and the production can reach up to 1.5 tons per day. The extended heat setting time brings a full setting of the polymer and a perfect resiliency to the texture.
This innovative process allows to produce the so called "4th generation of infill", where the texturized yarn keeps the straight piles of artificial turf standing upright, thus eliminating the need for sand and shredded tyre rubber, and also contributing this way to the prevention of pollution.
