ITMA 2015 To Include Recycled Fibers And Yarns Subchapter

The organizers of ITMA 2015 have added a Recycled Fibers and Yarns subchapter to the exhibition’s Fiber and Yarn chapter.
ITMA is owned by the Paris-based European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX) and organized by MP Expositions Pte Ltd, Singapore. The show’s 2015 edition, which is being marketed under the theme “Master the Art of Sustainable Innovation,” will be held November 12-19, 2015, at Fiera Milano Rho in Milan.
The Fiber and Yarn chapter was launched at ITMA 2011 in Barcelona, Spain, where 37 companies from 14 countries exhibited their products and services. According to show organizers, the sector was among the top five visited at the show, with 83 percent of the exhibitors reporting they established relationships with new customers. More than 94 percent of the 2011 fiber and yarn exhibitors are expected to return to the 2015 edition.
ITMA 2015’s sustainability theme is being embraced by exhibitors such as Switzerland-based yarn manufacturer Hermann Bühler AG. “At Bühler, we are committed to produce high quality yarns through the highest environment standards in our production process,” said Martin Kägi, the company’s CEO. “The sustainability theme for ITMA 2015 underscores the importance of the drive towards sustainability in the entire textile and garment value chain. We look forward to showcasing our latest innovations that promote sustainability at the show.”
