Lectra Introduces Lectra Fashion PLM V3R3

Paris-based Lectra, an integrated technology solutions provider serving the fashion and soft goods industries, has debuted Lectra Fashion product lifecycle management (PLM) V3R3 software.
Lectra reports it has significantly improved the user experience to facilitate collaboration and transparency among creative designers, technical designers and product developers. The software is integrated into Adobe© Illustrator©, allowing users to create and share information through a common platform and unique file.
“By integrating Lectra Fashion PLM connectivity into Adobe Illustrator, these users can stay within their comfort zone,” said Anastasia Charbin, fashion marketing director, Lectra. “They are free to create in Illustrator and also share and exchange with the Lectra Fashion PLM platform community in a seamlessly intuitive way. We have made it fun.”
Lectra Fashion PLM V3R3 offers improvements including a deeper integration of Lectra’s 3-D virtual product sampling. The software enables design and product development teams to review design options, check fit for multiple sizes and work on modifications by adding annotations to 3-D snapshots. It also enables users to utilize live messaging. In addition, Lectra Fashion PLM V3R3 allows extended teams direct access to shared information in real time.
Lectra also has added new color libraries, testing templates and care labels with the new software.
