DyStar Introduces New Black Dye Alkaline Dyeing System

Dystar has introduced Remazol® Black A, a new reactive dye that reduces the cost of black exhaust dyeing on cellulosic fibers. According to the company, this dye is metal free and environmentally compatible. It produces a deep black dye shade with high color strength. It also has excellent washing-off properties and relatively few wash cycles are required to remove unfixed dyestuff from the dyed goods. As with other Remazol dyes, this product has high wash and perspiration fastness.Dystar has also developed Dianix® AD, a new system for the alkaline dyeing of polyester. This system is comprised of a new range of pH-stable dispersed dyes plus a suitable buffer system and dyeing auxiliaries. This ensures optimum dyeing results in polyester.Dystars new dyes dye in a pH range of 8.5 to 9.5, rather than the standard method which is dyed with a pH of 4.5 to 5.0.Dianix AD uses an alkali dyeing method, which facilitates the removal of oligomers that are released during the dyeing process.
