DuPont Introduces New Chlorine-Resistant Lycra

DuPont Lycra® has introduced a new chlorine-resistant Lycra for the 1999 season. The chlorine-resistant Lycra will be used in both competitive and recreational swimwear. It is more durable, resistant to the effects of chlorine and has the same characteristics of the previous Lycra, the company said.Several manufacturers such as Baltex, TYR, Nike, Speedo, Jantzen and Nautica are using the chlorine-resistant Lycra for 1999.
