VF Realigns Leadership Of Domestic Intimate Apparel Businesses

GREENSBORO, N.C., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC), theworld's largest apparel manufacturer, announced today internal organizationalchanges within its domestic intimate apparel businesses. The changes arestrategically designed to establish a growth model for VF's extensive brandportfolio. "We see a great opportunity to manage our brands by retail channel tomaximize their strength in the United States market," said Eric Wiseman, newlyappointed vice president and chairman of VF's Global Intimate ApparelCoalition. "This will ensure our ability to compete successfully in themarketplace." Under Wiseman's leadership, Ellen Rohde, newly appointed president ofDepartment and Specialty Brands, will lead VF's upper channel brands.Reporting to Ellen Rohde will be Kathy Reynolds, VP/GM, Vanity Fair; StuGreenberg, VP/GM, Lily of France and Natori; Richard Lusk, VP/GM, PrivateBrands and Specialty Stores; Pat Lager, VP/GM, Tommy Hilfiger; and MarkAnderson, VP/GM, Nike. Mass brands also will be aligned to create partnerships with retailers inthe mass market channel. To this effect, reporting to Wiseman will be AnneJardine, VP/GM, Bestform/Exquisite Form/Mass Private Brands, and Art DeCesaro,VP/GM, Vassarette. Chris Fuentes, VP of Marketing for Bestform, has been named VP Marketingfor all U.S. intimates brands. Point-of-Sale merchandising staffs of Bestform, Inc. and Vanity FairIntimates, Inc. will be consolidated into one group in an effort to improveservice to VF's retail partners. In the operations, manufacturing and finance areas, Bob Pines willcontinue his role as Sr. VP Manufacturing/Operations/Finance with theadditional focus of Common Systems and Best Practices implementation. CurtHoltz is named CFO/VP Operations. Reporting to Pines, Holtz will beresponsible for driving VF's Supply Chain "best practices" throughout theorganization. These organizational changes will be implemented over the next two months.
