Stork Opens E-Commerce Outlet For Pretreated Fabrics

Stork Digital Imaging, Boxmeer, the Netherlands, has established a substrate shop under the name FabricUnlimited to supply pretreated textiles for use with the TCP, Amber, Zircon and Amethyst digital ink-jet printers. Substrates can be obtained from FabricUnlimited in Boxmeer or through Stork distributors. Direct on-line ordering is possible via the Stork Digital Imaging website (www.stork-digital-imaging.com).

Standard substrates currently include cotton, viscose, linen, silk, polyester, polyamide-Lycra and various other blends. FabricUnlimited will also undertake custom pretreatment of users’ own substrates.

Printers wishing to pretreat their own textiles can purchase a technology license to allow access to all of the Stork-developed recipes and know-how, including training in the implementation of the procedures. FabricUnlimited also supplies quality-certified chemicals required for the various processes.
