Four Leaf Textiles Announces Investment In Mexico

Four Leaf Textiles LLC, Clover, S.C., has completed the necessary financing to construct a greenfield, state-of-the-art production facility in Guanajuato, Mexico. The investment will be made in two phases, with the first $20 million phase completed by April 2001. In the first phase, Four Leaf will construct a 150,000-square-foot facility and install new, linked ring spinning dedicated to producing specialty yarns for sale in the apparel, home furnishings, bed, bath and automotive markets. The plant will have approximately 22,000 spindles with an estimated annual capacity of 12 million pounds. During the second phase of development, the company will invest an additional $20 million to more than double the capacity of the plant."The plant is the most recent and significant example of Four Leafs commitment to creating flexible production facilities featuring the most modern yarn manufacturing equipment available," said David Roberts, founder and CEO, Four Leaf.
