CRI Approves Evolved Organizational Structure

The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) has approved an evolved organizational structure, reflecting focused efforts to achieve the CRI vision of assisting members in continuing to be profitable and growing. The emphasis will be on CRI members commitment to environmental excellence and customer satisfaction, said Werner Braun, president. The new organization will be led by an operating committee composed of issue committee chairs, the president emeritus and staff. Braun will chair the operating committee. The three issue committees to be formed are: environmental, health and technical issues committee; governmental issues committee; and customer satisfaction issues committee. Each committee will define the most critical barriers to profitability and growth in the industry and determine the path forward for CRIs assistance with these issues.
