ATME-I 2000 Presents Latest Textile Technology

Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the Western Hemisphere's largest textile machinery exhibition.


Greenville, S.C., will welcome visitors and exhibitors from at least 65 countries to ATME-I 2000, to be held at the Palmetto Expo Center in October.When the American Textile Machinery Exhibition International (ATME-I 2000) opens its doors at the Palmetto Expo Center in Greenville, S.C., in October, thousands of textile manufacturers in the spinning, fiber manufacturing and nonwovens sectors, as well as plant engineering and maintenance professionals, will have the opportunity to see the newest products and technology available from manufacturers of textile machinery and other components of textile manufacturing operations, including robotics, monitoring systems, recycling equipment, software and process controls.As the major venue in the Western Hemisphere for bringing together users and manufacturers of textile machinery and equipment, the exhibition will include over 430 exhibitors from more than 25 countries.The exhibit, held every four years in Greenville, will take place Monday, October 23, through Friday, October 27, and is sponsored by the American Textile Machinery Association (ATMA), Falls Church, Va., and Textile Hall Corp., Greenville. Exhibit hours are: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.The weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing and finishing segment of ATME-I will take place April 23-27, 2001.The exhibit halls are color-coded by drapes in each area: Hall A, black; Hall B, yellow; Hall C, red (Center Hall is included as part of Hall C); Hall D, blue.More than 15,000 textile professionals from at least 65 countries are expected to attend ATME-I 2000. Registration fee is $25 per person. Visitors are encouraged to preregister by contacting the ATME-I 2000 registration office in Greenville.To help visitors find specific textile machinery and equipment suppliers showing at ATME-I in October, ATI has prepared an exclusive preview of the offerings of more than 300 key exhibitors. The following listings, as of publish date, are arranged alphabetically by company name. You are invited to stop by Booth C-1625 to pick up a complimentary copy of ATI or Textiles Panamericanos, its sister publication. Textiles Panamericanos will provide a special hospitality lounge for Latin American visitors through an arrangement with ATME-I management. The lounge is located on the mezzanine, directly above the ATI/ Textiles Panamericanos booth.Best wishes for a successful show!
