Fox River Partners With Friction Free Technologies

New York City-based Friction Free Technologies has formed a partnership with Fox River Mills, Osage, Iowa, to handle the manufacturing, sales and distribution of its Blister Guard® Military sock line.Blister Guard utilizes Friction Free® technology to halt friction and heat buildup, eliminating chafing, abrasions and blisters. Were fiber experts, not sock experts, says Peter Vogel, executive vice president, Friction Free Technologies. This is a win, win, win situation for all. It will allow us to concentrate our energy and resources on new applications for our comfort technology, it takes advantage of Fox Rivers ingenuity and expertise in the sock market, and [it] will provide our military even better service and products, said Vogel.Fox Rivers new military line includes technical boot socks, liner socks and a PT athletic sock with such added features as fitted arches and choices in sock length and weight.
