Old Hickory, Tenn.-based BBA Nonwovens has announced plans to significantly increase its spunlace capacity in the United States. Bethune, S.C., is the current site for BBAs spunlace manufacturing facility. The announcement represents BBAs commitment to address the growing demand for spunlace nonwoven materials. The company also announced a reorganization of its geotextiles business. The reorganization includes a decision to dissolve BBAs exclusive agreement with Linq Industrial Fabrics to distribute BBAs geotextile product, Typar®/Tekton®, in North and South America.
