Grimm Schirp Expands Manufacturing Facilities

Germany-based Grimm Schirp Technologies (GS) is to expand its factory by 10,000 square feet in response to worldwide demand for its latest air-lay technology. We plan to install a full air-lay line in our plant to enable potential clients to test out their manufacturing programs before they order their own equipment, said Heinrich Grimm, owner, GS. We expect 2001 to be our biggest sales year in our 25-year history, with 80 percent of the sales coming from outside Germany and Europe.GS also has a working relationship with Germany-based Stellamcor GmbH. Stellamcor sales and marketing consultants represent GS in the United States and Germany.
