Fruit Of The Loom Selects Rieter Spinning And Draw-Frames

Fruit of the Loom Inc., Chicago, is in the process of modernizing its Leesburg, Ala., plant and has decided to purchase a number of R 20 rotor spinning machines from Rieter Corp., Spartanburg, S.C. The R 20 machines will be supported by new Rieter RSB D-30 drawframes.Fruit of the Loom representatives stated, The cost reductions that will result at Leesburg are possible because of the many unique features offered by the Rieter R 20 rotor-spinning machines. Our personnel were very favorably impressed with the productivity and operator friendliness of the R 20 machine and with the excellent performance of the Rieter spun yarn in the knitting operation. Fruit of the Loom is very pleased to have Rieter as a partner in this project.
