Four Winners To Receive Best Paper Award

The International Nonwovens Technical Conference (INTC), co-sponsored by the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) and the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), has announced the winners of its Best Paper competition.The four award winners are: Behnam Pourdeyhimi, Nonwovens Cooperative Research Center, Characterization of Structural Changes in Nonwoven Fabrics During Load Deformation Experiments; Jeff Dugan, Fashion Institute of Technology, Novel Properties of PLA Fibers; Glen Gibson, Eastman Chemical, Use of Infrared Thermography to Improve the Melt Spinning and Processing of Polyester Fibers; and C. Heil, Owens Corning, Crossflow Drying and Curing of Wetlaid Glass Fiber Veils.The winners will receive their Best Paper awards in September at the INTC 2001 Conference in Baltimore.
