Gematex Vollenweider Join Forces

Germany-based Gematex Textilveredlungsmaschinen GmbH and Sam Vollenweider AG, Switzerland have merged in the world market and joined their sales and service organizations to provide machinery and knowledge in the area of dry mechanical surface treatment of textiles.The two companies will operate under the new name of Xetma. The product scope of the new company comprises machines for raising, emerizing, shearing, carpet-shearing, cropping and singeing.Xetma Gematex will concentrate on raising, emerizing and carpet shearing, and will maintain a technology department in Germany. Xetma Vollenweider will focus on shearing, fabric cleaning and singeing.
