Binsfeld Designs Digital Stator For Rieter Machines
Binsfeld Engineering Inc. (BEI), Maple City, Mich., now offers the DS220 Digital Stator for
upgrading Rieter frequency-based rotary temperature transmitter systems. The digital circuit is
mounted in place of the existing stator circuit and accepts the Rieter frequency signal directly
from the rotating transmitter.Suitable for off-the-shelf process controllers, the DS220 outputs a
linear 4- to 20-milliamp (mA) current signal. The instrument allows the addition of digital control
to aging analog control systems. The DS220 can be custom-configured to output the original Rieter
frequency to an existing Rieter heater controller.
