Japan-based Tajima Group has introduced its TEHX-C line of embroidery machines featuring T3 (Tajima Technology Today) productivity tools.Features include a thread-clamping system that locks threads, preventing pull-outs; a rotary tension device to detect bobbin-thread breaks; and a variable thread-tension system. The design has a sewing field of 360 mm by 520 mm and can sew up to 15 colors. When its narrow cylinder is used, the machine can accommodate such items as pant legs, inside pockets, socks and golf-head covers.According to Tajima, the TEHX-C can stitch up to 1,200 stitches per minute and has a two-million-stitch memory for up to 159 designs. The TEHX-C is available in a single head with nine, 12 or 15 needles; and six, 12, 15 or 18 heads with six, nine, 12 or 15 needles.
