Carpet Technologies Show® kicked off in Dalton, Ga., September 11 at the NorthWest Georgia Trade
and Convention Center. Over a three-day period, exhibitors displayed the latest machinery and
equipment available to carpet manufacturers. Visitors also attended a number of seminars at Global
Outlook 2001, a forum presenting internationally recognized carpet industry leaders who discussed
the state of the carpet and rug industry, both in the United States and abroad.The show was
sponsored by the Dalton Floor Covering Market Association (DFCMA).
A.B. Carter presented various products for use by carpet manufacturers.
During his Global Outlook presentation, Ralph Boe, president, Beaulieu Residential, talked
about the carpet industry in the United Kingdom.
