Simco39 S Ionizing Blowers Neutralize Static Charges


Simco Industrial Static Control, Hatfield, Pa., now offers new hazardous location static elimination equipment. The XP-2 shockless static bar can be used on extruders, laminators, coaters and other equipment where adhesives and chemicals are being administered to neutralize static charges.For applications in which air-assisted static elimination is needed, the company offers the XP-20F extended-range ionizing blower that can neutralize charges up to 10 feet away from the blower and static charges up to 5 feet away.The devices have been developed to meet safety standards and provide static neutralization in potentially hazardous environments. They are UL-listed for Class I, Division I, Group D hazardous locations.
