Hyosung Tackles U S Diaper Market
Korea-based Hyosung Inc. announced it will aggressively focus its creora spandex brand on the U.S.
diaper and adult incontinence markets. The company also is looking at a variety of hygiene and
medical nonwovens applications for creora.Hyosung has successfully competed in diaper markets in
other regions and we see the North American market as an excellent growth area for creora, said
Rusty Ford, vice president, Hyosung (America) Inc., Charlotte.Having successfully completed its
first year of operations in the United States, the company currently is building a
67,000-square-foot-office and warping facility in Charlotte. Additionally, Hyosung is investigating
possibilities for its nylon and polyester products in the United States.
