ETF Delivers M 6610 To Slovenia

ETF Machinefabriek B.V., The Netherlands, has delivered an M 6610 off-line vinyl inspection, rolling and packing machine to a company in Slovenia. The machine has a working width of 4,000 millimeters (mm) and features a programmable logic controller.

The M 6610 can accept rolls weighing up to 10,000 kilograms and measuring 1,500 mm in diameter. A platform built to facilitate quality inspection also enables observation and control of certain machine functions. A cross-cutter with four rotating blades cuts the vinyl at a speed of 90 meters per minute, producing vinyl rolls measuring up to 500 mm in diameter. At the automated wrapping station, a sheet of film is fed around the roll and taped. The ends are closed by hand and a bung is inserted.
