Tietex Interiors Debuts At Showtime

Tietex Interiors, Greensboro, N.C. - Tietex International Ltd.'s (TI) new global business unit for residential furniture fabrics, home furnishings, contract fabrics and hospitality products - launched its product line in January at Showtime, the semi-annual fabric market held in High Point, N.C. The new division was formed last year following Spartanburg-based TI's acquisition of Burlington House Upholstery from Burlington Industries Inc., Greensboro.

At Showtime, Tietex Interiors highlighted new product innovation, stressing product depth and value in its presentation. "We want to sustain the progress that was being made at Burlington," said Mike Durham, group president, Tietex Interiors, "but in the entrepreneurial spirit of our parent company, coupled with product categories that were not possible at Burlington, we intend to accelerate it."
