SUVAC Vacuum Introduced For Tubular Knitted Fabrics

Santex AG, Switzerland, has introduced the SUVAC® hydroextraction vacuum machine for tubular knitted fabrics.

The SUVAC machine enables a tubular fabric first to be untwisted by a twist detector. The fabric then moves through the rewetting trough to a circular nozzle for hydroextraction. Because the fabric is overstretched evenly on its way through the circular vacuum extraction nozzle, a uniform mesh structure is maintained over the entire relaxation loop.

According to Santex, other advantages of SUVAC include increased efficiency and elimination of crease marks. The machine is available with four nozzles of different diameters, and is designed to handle fabrics 18 to 96 centimeters wide.
