TLV® Introduces EF77 Vortex Flow Meter

TLV® Corp., Charlotte, reports its new EF77 vortex flow meter offers high performance and is intrinsically safe. The devices patented capacitive sensor generates accurate, repeatable volumetric flow rate measurements within a wide range for liquids, gases and steam. It operates in up to 725 pounds per square inch of pressure and in temperatures up to 750°F, and it is compatible with TLV's EC351 or other flow computers that accept a 4- to 20-milliamp signal. The EF77 also resists thermal shock and water hammer, and withstands pipeline vibration, according to TLV. Its stainless steel design has no moving parts, and its sensor and electronics self-diagnostics include an alarm function. All flow meters are hydrostatically pressure-tested.
