Viscotek's Viscometer Analyzes Polymer Solutions

Houston-based Viscotek offers its ASTM-approved Relative Viscometer for analysis of relative, intrinsic, inherent, specific and absolute viscosity of dilute polymer solutions such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride, polyolefins, hyaluronic acid and others. The unit also measures the molecular weight of these solutions. The company says the viscometer provides faster, more accurate and more precise analysis than glass tubes; and uses less than 50 percent of the solvent required for traditional methods to complete its analysis.
