NTC, TI Plan Back-To-Back Events

The National Textile Center (NTC), Spring House, Pa., a research consortium of eight US universities; and The Textile Institute (TI), England, an international organization of textile, apparel and footwear professionals with cooperation from the North Carolina State University College of Textiles, Raleigh, N.C. will hold back-to-back 2005 annual meetings at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Research Triangle Park, N.C.

The 13th NTC Forum will be held March 20-22, and the 84th Textile Institute Annual World Conference (TIAWC) will take place March 22-25. TIAWC is sponsored by the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, Research Triangle Park; the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, Cary, N.C.; Cotton Incorporated, Cary; the Institute of Textile Technology, Raleigh; and the Textile/Clothing Technology Corp., Cary.

"By placing these meetings back-to-back, we have created what will be the most comprehensive review of textile-related research, trends and issues presented in 2005," said David Buchanan, conference chairman.
