Culp To Distribute PFG's SoftGuard To Bedding Industry

The Culp Home Fashions Division of Culp Inc., High Point, N.C., has entered into a distribution agreement with Precision Fabrics Group (PFG), Greensboro, N.C. Through the new partnership, Culp will be the exclusive distributor of PFG's SoftGuard MTP line of products, which recently was released for the bedding industry.

For use between the mattress foam and the ticking, or beneath the sacrificial layers of fiber or foam, SoftGuard MTP products consist of a proprietary blend of treated fibers that provides superior flame-blocking capability, according to the company. When properly integrated into a sleep set, the bedding meets California's new open-flame mattress flammability standard.
