Unifi Partners With HIND Marmot To Offer New Products

Greensboro, N.C.-based Unifi Inc. has formed a partnership with Peabody, Mass.-based Saucony Inc.'s HIND division to introduce two new sports bras the Motion Sensor Bra and the Proactive Bra featuring Unifi's Sorbtek moisture-management yarn. Sorbtek technology draws moisture away from the skin, moves it to the bras outer layer, and then releases it into the air. Sorbtek also provides stain resistance, stretchability and breathability.

Unifi also has collaborated with Marmot Mountain Ltd., Santa Rosa, Calif., to produce Marmot's Infinity Baselayer collection featuring BacteriaStat with Unifi's A.M.Y. antimicrobial yarns. A.M.Y. yarns contain a non-migratory silver ceramic polymer additive that is permanently imbedded in the yarn matrix. The new base layer garment collection will include 18 styles to be launched next Fall. Women's and men's styles will be available in Slikweight and Midweight finished weights.
