NSC Launches POPE W2P Winder

NSC Nonwoven, a division of France-based NSC Group, has introduced the POPE W2P winder, designed to wind parent reels having diameters of up to 3.5 meters.

NSC said the main features of the W2P include: a support drum that provides control of wind nip from core to doffing; permanent control of web tension; a twin centerdrive system that controls reel forming throughout the winding cycle; a second support winding drum that controls mother roll winding during doffing; a first support winding drum that allows doffing without the need for glue on the new core; and a supervised web threading system.
