Fehrer Announces Machinery Sales

Fehrer AG, Austria, recently received several machinery orders.

Geotex 2000, Italy, has ordered a 7.3-meter-wide needling line that comprises a FFS web-feeding system, a NL 9/S pre-needler with one needling zone and a NL 21/R upstroke needle loom with two needling zones combined with a downstroke NL 21 with two needling zones.

Geofabrics Ltd., England, has added an additional Fehrer needle loom to an existing production line.

An automotive sub-supplier in the United States has ordered an aerodynamic web-forming production line that includes a V21/R-K12 machine fitted with the High-Loft system to enhance noise insulation properties of the end product.

Fehrer has sold a DREF 3000 spinning machine to a Russia-based producer of special fibers and filaments including multicomponent yarns containing recycled material. Another DREF 3000 has been sold to a Western manufacturer that plans to use filaments from current production to make multicomponent yarns that will be processed further using existing special weaving capacity.

DREF 2000 machine sales include: a six-head machine to a Netherlands-based technical yarns producer; a 12-head machine to a mop and filter cartridge manufacturer based in Canada; and a 12-head DREF 2000/E12 to a cleaning cloth producer based in Italy.
