Stäubli Updates LX 3201

Stäubli International AG, Switzerland, has released an updated version of the LX 3201 high-speed jacquard weaving machine that may be configured with 14,336 hooks.

Suitable for the manufacture of flat fabrics such as upholstery and silk, the LX 3201 may be installed on air-jet, projectile or rapier weaving machines. Because of the greater number of hooks now available, it may also be used with wider looms. As with previous models, electronic thread control is handled by a single JC5 jacquard controller. The additional hooks enable weavers to achieve an increased level of output and a wider range of pattern creation. According to Stäubli, the updated LX 3201 requires less of an investment than if a customer were to buy two smaller machines to do the same job.
