Bagir Unveils Easy-Care Suit, Now Ships Duty-Free To US

Israel-based Bagir (1961) Ltd. reports its new tumble-dry machine-washable men's tailored wool suits exhibit excellent crease-resistance and are environmentally safe. Test suits of various wool blends were subjected to 30 washes and 30 tumble-dry cycles, and were assessed for quality after every five cycles. After testing, the new suits proved identical or better in quality than comparable suits that were dry-cleaned 30 times.

The patent-pending suits will be available in the United States and Europe for the Fall 2005 season.

In other company news, Bagir can now ship Israeli-Egyptian-produced suits duty-free to the United States as a result of a free trade agreement signed by the United States, Egypt and Israel at the end of last year.
