Cotton Incorporated Chooses Rieter Equipment For Lab

Cotton Incorporated, Cary, N.C., has chosen short-staple yarn spinning equipment from Switzerland-based Rieter Textile Systems for its newly refurbished research laboratory.

The Rieter machinery includes blow-room preparatory machines and the C 60 card, RSB draw frame, E 62 comber, UNIlap E 32, F 11 speed frame, K 44 ring-spinning frame and R 40 rotorspinner.

Working with Rieter was an exciting opportunity, according to David Clapp, director of technical services and fiber processing, Cotton Incorporated. “[W]e hope to continue to grow our relationship with Rieter, and provide the platform to attract other technology partners,” he added.
