EST Exits Tire-Cord Fabric Business

Greenville-based Engineered Specialty Textiles LLC (EST) has exited the tire-cord fabric business to focus on its core engineered-yarn and conveyor-belt fabric markets.

“This action will allow us to make significant investments in hose yarns, single-end tire cord and conveyor-belt fabrics,” said Mark Daniels, CEO. “EST is committed to these industries, and we realize that our investments need to focus on the markets in which we are industry leaders.”< /font>
