Albis To Install World's Widest Spunbond Line

Italy-based Albis S.p.A. has ordered a second Neumag spunbond plant that includes a three-beam spunbond/meltblown/spunbond configuration and bicomponent capability. The new line, which will have a production width of 7 meters, will be the world’s widest spunbond line.

The company installed its first Neumag line in 2005. That line features a production width of 5 meters and comprises two beams, a meltblown unit and bicomponent capability.
