Anvil Introduces Organic T-Shirts

Anvil Knitwear Inc., New York City, has launched a line of Anvil Organic T-shirts made with 100-percent organic cotton grown without using toxic pesticides and fertilizers, and genetically modified seeds and organic dyes.

"The time is right to bring an affordable, 100-percent organic tee to the market," said Anthony Corsano, CEO. "Anvil has always been an innovator in the market, and while some of our competitors are offering an organic product, it is safe to say that no one is offering the variety that Anvil is at anywhere near our price point.
