Mark A. Banash has joined Nanocomp Technologies Inc., Concord, N.H., as vice president of engineering.

Globaltex Inc., Davidson, N.C., has promoted Jose Antonio “Pepe” Diaz-Llaneza II to vice president of sales, marketing and development.



Concordia Fibers, Coventry, R.I., has appointed Debra Masso medical manufacturing manager, and Ian Christianson quality assurance and regulatory affairs manager, Medical division.

The Board of Directors of Unifi Inc., Greensboro, N.C., has elected William L. Jasper president and CEO; R. Roger Berrier Jr. executive vice president of sales, marketing and Asian operations; and Ronald L. Smith vice president of finance and treasurer. Berrier and Jasper also have joined the Board of Directors as well as the Executive Committee, which also includes Unifi Chairman Stephen Wener and Executive Committee Chairman G. Alfred Webster.
