Prime Energy Adds Atlas Copco To Name

LaPorte, Texas-based Prime Energy, a company within the Atlas Copco Group, has changed its name to Atlas Copco Prime Energy LLC in order to highlight its close relationship with its parent company.

Atlas Copco Prime Energy rents 100-percent oil-free portable air compressors to businesses in a range of industries including textiles, paper, container manufacturing, refining and petrochemicals, among other industries. The company claims its fleet is the largest, highest-quality rental fleet of oil-free compressors worldwide, offering more than 1 million cubic feet of air.

"We're still the same company, so all existing business arrangements will remain exactly as they were," said Frank McMahon, vice president, Atlas Copco Prime Energy.
