Nordson Introduces New AltaBlue™ TT Models

Nordson Corp. — a Westlake, Ohio-based producer of precision dispensing equipment, and of electronic equipment used for testing and inspecting electronic components and technology-based systems for curing and surface treatment processes — now offers three new AltaBlue™ TT adhesive melters with dual stream pumps.

Nordson’s AltaBlue™ TT adhesive melters with dual stream pumps

The dual stream pumps enable the melters to be easily adapted to applications that require duplicate metered streams to provide good bead consistency and uniformity, according to the company. The pumps also provide advantages for nonwoven and product assembly applications, including improved resolution regardless of pump speed. The new melters deliver a wide variety of hot-melt adhesives, and feature variable-speed AC motors and key-to-line capability.

The melters are available with the choice of three different displacement dual stream pumps. All three feature tubular, Teflon®-coated tanks, which eliminate dead corners and reduce adhesive degradation; and a full-feature control panel that displays the system status and offers the option of using either a keypad or arrow keys for programming.
