Batson Partners With Quick Vac, DMP Corp; Represents Meera

Greenville-based Batson Group Inc. now offers a complete line of Gastonia, N.C.-based Quick Vac Inc.’s automatic waste-removal systems for textile manufacturing, nonwoven and converting operations. Quick Vac’s systems automatically collect waste, then dump it from low-profile receiver tanks into low-profile balers, eliminating manual handling of waste materials.

Batson also has partnered with Rock Hill, S.C.-based DMP Corp. to offer industrial wastewater treatment solutions. The companies will supply a Total Water Production Package that includes automated continuous-flow or batch wastewater treatment systems, and clean-water and recycled-water systems, among others. DMP will coordinate on-site review of a company’s processes, piping and equipment installation; and perform treatability testing in order to estimate cost, specify equipment and verify discharge requirements.

In other company news, India-based textile machinery manufacturer Meera Industries Pvt. Ltd. has selected Batson as US and Canadian distributor for its Two For One (TFO) twisters for spun, embroidery, carpet and filament yarns. According to Meera, its TFO twisters can reduce processing costs per twist by half, compared to One on One twisters, among other benefits.
