Datacolor Obtains ISO 9001:2000 Recertification
The International Organization for Standardization has approved ISO 9001:2000 recertification for
Lawrenceville, N.J.-based Datacolor's Quality Management System at its Lawrenceville and Suzhou,
China, facilities. Det Norske Veritas performed an audit to ensure Datacolor complied with stated
procedures and international standards for ISO 9001:2000, which is based on eight quality
management principles including customer focus, involvement of people, leadership, continual
improvement, process approach, system approach to management, fact-based decision-making and
mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
"Achieving ISO 9001:2000 recertification ... is a direct result of our entire organization working together to ensure the highest quality products and services for our customers," said Terry Downes, president, Datacolor.
