Sirtres Expands Size Of Range Of Roll Sleeves

Italy-based Sirtres - supplier of Sinvex plastic sleeves for calendering and embossing rolls, and fluorocarbon-resin heat-shrinkable sleeves for nip and coating rolls - now offers sleeves up to 7,000 millimeters (mm) long and from 100 to 800 mm in diameter. The company, which is certified according to the ISO EN 9001/2000 standard, reports its calendering and embossing sleeves are suitable for any original equipment manufacturer's two-, three- or four-roll calenders using crowned rolls operating at single fix pressure.

In addition to the textile finishing sector, Sirtres serves the film production and converting, and paper and paper converting sectors.

Sirtres is represented in North and Central America by Holyoke, Mass-based Holyoke Machine Co., which distributes its Sinvex sleeves, designs new rolls, and services and repairs existing rolls and most rotating equipment.
