Appleton Adds Three Models To Core Recycler Line

Neenah, Wis.-based Appleton Mfg. Division now offers its Safe-Slab Core Recycler in light-, medium-, and heavy-duty models to accommodate rolls measuring up to 32 inches wide and 96 inches long, and weighing up to 1,000 pounds. According to Appleton, the blade-free, slabbing and core recycling unit quickly, safely and automatically removes leftover roll material, including paper, film, foil and plastic, so the cores may be reused and the scrap may be recycled.

"Our Safe-Slab Core Recycler reduces waste disposal costs, increases the value of the recycled waste and reduces core usage," said Rob Hirn, president, Appleton Mfg. "Today, that is valuable to any company."
