In Memoriam: Perry Antoshak

Perry Antoshak, Closter, N.J., an executive with America's Textiles and America's Textiles International (ATI), predecessors of today's Textile World , died Tuesday, May 29, 2012.Antoshak's association with textile publications spanned more than 30 years, beginning in 1965, when he joined Women's Wear Daily as director of sales. During the 1970s, he served as editor of Knitting Industry, and he joined America's Textiles in 1980, continuing his association with that magazine and ATI until his retirement in 1998. At those publications, he served in various positions including advertising sales representarive, communications manager, vice president and associate publisher. Antoshak is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis; five children; and nine grandchildren.
