Noble Biomaterials Acquires Carolina Silver

X-Static® silver-based fiber technology developer Noble Biomaterials Inc., Scranton, Pa., has acquired Carolina Silver LLC, Maiden, N.C. — a manufacturer of silver-coated fiber, yarn and fabric for apparel, bedding, military, industrial and medical applications. Carolina Silver sells its products under the 4t7™ and Ag3+ brands.

"Carolina Silver has been a leader within the silver textile solutions industry, and its technologies will support the growth of the X-Static brand in preventing infections, healing wounds and eliminating odor," said Noble Biomaterials CEO Jeff Keane.

"The integration of Carolina's technologies into Noble's best in class business model and global sales capability will allow us to reach many more customers around the world," said Carolina Silver CEO Jerry Finney.
