ITMA Asia + CITME 2014 Exhibitor Preview: Schwing Fluid Technik

NEUKIRCHEN-VLUYN, Germany — June 1, 2014 — SCHWING is pleased to announce their participation in the upcoming ITMA and CITME ASIA 2014 exhibition in Shanghai by exhibiting in Hall W1, Booth F14. They will be demonstrating their equipment by highlighting the latest advanced thermal cleaning technology offered for filament, fibers, and recycling processes. Their equipment is designed and manufactured with the latest advances in pollution control and operates under low energy consumption as demanded by regulations in most markets. SCHWING is the only manufacturer worldwide who offers all advanced thermal cleaning technologies for the removal of polymers and organic contaminations from metal components and machine parts of any type and size. This includes spinnerets, pack body components, screens, filter components, extruder screws, etc. For synthetic fiber production, proper cleaning of spinnerets and the pack body during pack changes is critical for faster startups, tenacity, denier, dyeing, and operation cost. Highlighting their solutions, SCHWING offers their latest VACUCLEAN system which uses a vacuum pyrolysis operating principle with a unique 3-step operation that ensures spinnerets are completely cleaned before returning them onto the line. SCHWING’s VACUCLEAN is very well accepted in the industry by customers who experience the difference over traditional burnout ovens or TEG cleaning by having much better cleaning results with lower energy usage and without pollution by use of a special catalytic converter. SCHWING also offers their INNOVACLEAN cleaning system, which typically needs three to six hours to complete the cleaning process at temperatures between 450 °C and 480 °C. INNOVACLEAN can be used with most nozzle geometries and even with critical capillary sizes.
