Technology solutions provider Lectra, Paris, reports its upgraded Lectra Fashion product lifecycle management (PLM) V3R3 software offers a significantly improved user experience that facilitates collaboration and transparency among creative designers, technical designers and product developers. The software is integrated into Adobe® Illustrator®, allowing users to create and share information through a common platform and unique file.
“By integrating Lectra Fashion PLM connectivity into Adobe Illustrator, these users can stay within their comfort zone,” said Anastasia Charbin, fashion marketing director, Lectra. “They are free to create in Illustrator and also share and exchange with the Lectra Fashion PLM platform community in a seamlessly intuitive way.”
Software improvements include a deeper integration of Lectra’s 3-D virtual product sampling. Design and product development teams now can review design options, check fit for multiple sizes and work on modifications by adding annotations to 3-D snapshots.
Users may utilize live messaging, and extended teams now can access shared information directly in real time. New color libraries, testing templates and care labels are also included.
